iMpeC’s approach is to create purposeful places while maximising economic and social value.

Through our desire to create better places, we identify opportunities, set the vision and provide the careful stewardship needed to realise them.  We recognise that our commitment to place-making has to be for the long term.

Our current live commercial projects include the £180m Milburngate mixed use development in Durham City and The Fram Well a bespoke, government office building adjacent to Durham City’s railway station.

Our latest residential project, Barcusclose Lane Burnopfield, is a 12 acre land promotion agreement between a local landowner and iMpeC.

We have successfully originated and delivered projects ranging in value from £10m to circa £180m.

We identify property opportunities and devise innovative commercial structures with funders, land owners and other stakeholders to align all parties’ interests and unlock value.

Our in-house expertise ensures that our projects consistently set new standards for creative design and innovative thinking. Our goal is, through responsible and sustainable development, to create successful, meaningful places that deliver lasting benefits for all.

We have worked on significant UK regeneration schemes such as Airport City Manchester; Freeman’s Reach, Durham City; Siglion, Sunderland; The Square, Sheffield and, most recently, Milburngate, Durham City.

We have forged a long standing and trusted relationships with a vast array of development professionals including agents, fund managers, architects, lawyers, engineers, cost consultants and placemaking advisors. At iMpeC, we’re able to access and harness the extensive knowledge and experience this network provides.
